Fleet Advisory: Critical bug Dear Fleet community members, We've identified a critical bug from v4.44.1 of Fleet affecting the bulk delete/transfer hosts feature. When filters (e.g., "low disk space") are applied, there's a risk of transferring/deleting hosts not within the filtered list, which could potentially lead to data loss. Bug Details: - Issue: Mismanagement of hosts when using Bulk delete/transfer with filters applied. - Impact: Hosts not intended for deletion or transfer may be affected. - Current Status: Identified and being addressed. We're targeting EOD on Wednesday (this week) to deliver a fix. - GitHub Tracking: Issue #17257 Mitigation: Avoid bulk deletion/transfer of hosts using filtering until a fix is available In the event this does happen, here's the expected behavior: - Host Deletion: Affected hosts will re-enroll at next check-in. - Host Transfer: Hosts can be manually transferred back if moved inadvertently.
