• Remove the shortcut_files virtual table, which was used to parse .LNK format files (table was only available in the Windows platform version of osquery). • Remove the ELF virtual tables (elf_dynamic, elf_info, elf_sections, elf_segments, and elf_symbols), which were used to parse ELF-format executable files (tables were only available in the Linux platform version of osquery). • Remove ssdeep as one of the hash types supported by the hash virtual table (affects all platforms) • Update the zlib dependency from v1.2.11 to v1.2.12, to address CVE CVE-2018-25032. • Update the OpenSSL dependency from version 1.1.1l to 1.1.1n to address CVE CVE-2022-0778. • Update the expat dependency from version 2.2.10 to 2.4.7, to address published CVEs. Update the librpm dependency to 4.17.0, to address CVE-2021-20266.
