@Alan Raff i don't think osquery has any sort of configuration ability like you describe. You'd probably want to use a configuration management tool like Puppet or Chef to fix whatever configuration issue is causing the FDE to not be applied. In this case, the use of osquery would be to illuminate that there is a problem.
