I think to me the reason it gives me an uneasy feeling is i just see it and think why? It seems like a superfluous feature that adds a layer of complexity and for what value specifically? If you have an endpoint manager to run an ad-hoc query (which seems like the only scenario you would use this, as we mentioned including scheduled queries would not be right) it sort of muddies the purpose of that endpoint manager as well.
