In short, yes, there is progress being made towards getting osquery running on Windows 7. That being said, it's currently only windows 7 x64, and it's a low priority task and is more in facilitation of another team here at Facebook. I'll try to keep that task updated with any progress we make, but I'm not sure of when we'd actually see the changes brought into master
