We're using osquery to collect and ship all host data into our data pipeline via packs. On each given host, we also have a few prometheus targets that collect certain timeseries metrics about these hosts that we need. B/c we're already using osquery packs to ship everything else, it makes sense for us to have just one thing that manages the collection of all this information...
