We haven't put much love into osquery within brew: https://github.com/facebook/osquery/issues/2888 Does anyone use brew as their installation method for osquery? Is it worthwhile for us to revitalize this installation method? If you think yes, can you provide an example. As a counter, I encourage our PKG method since it's release-tested, has no third-party dependencies, and can be deployed to a massive set of CPU revisions. The revitalization would require us to work with upstream dependency developers to make some changes in their codebases (most likely, or maintain patches in Homebrew formulas) and then add about 4/5 new dependency formulas.
