@coffee so I spoke with a dev of the logstash kinesis plugin and your method per event may actually be the correct way. I have a theory I am testing which may explain why per batch works best for me. After I test it, ill write up a detailed explanation. Its a strange one and kind of verbose to describe, so i would rather prove it out first
