The transitions here have always been a bit funny. Historically the process looks something like: 1. cut branch 2. build things 3. test 4. declare release stable on github 5. time passes, more testing, etc 6. declare stable in external repositories We have clearly done (1) and (2) (though 2 is a little shakey with new process) I’ve had 4.9.0 running for a couple days, I’m not sure anyone has?
