The key things I look for are: 1. Does this table allow an admin to determine the physical location of the device? (ex: wifi_survey) 2. Does this table allow an admin to ascertain the properties of the physical environment the device is physically present in? (ex: arp_cache) 3. To what extent can this table be used by an admin to build a productivity profile about the end-user? 4. To what extent can this table be used to learn private information about an end-user (ex: demographic details, family member names, medical information, external group/club memberships etc.) Then the criteria for enabling a table, if I clearly communicated to end-users about why this data is being collected, the conditions in which it is collected, who on this administrative team has access to the data, and finally a copy of any data collected...would users still object to the data collection?
