I don't understand the comment about security point of view? What is the security concern with using the beta feature? I've seen ccache support on several CI offerings so I'd guess there is a very good chance this will go into production. If it's not too much trouble opting-in (changing the yaml) and potentially reverting, the benefits seem huge to go this way now.
