I observed

/var/log/osquery

was removed after running a macOS update. Because

osqueryd

requires the logfile path to be present to run, the update resulted in several hours of log losses until the log path was manually restored. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? I'm on macOS Catalina 10.15.7 and I believe it was a minor update.
