Hmm, that's odd. I'll need to go over the expiry code but it should be moving a pointer forward and it seems it isn't. On the other hand, @fmanco has completely rewritten the eventing framework so it's all going to change soon as well. I'll try and find some time to look and see if there is a setting that should be set and perhaps isn't
