@thor sorry I missed your comment, been out of good internet range... The AWS stuff that we pull in only adds a few MB to the osqueryd binary. Unfortunately we do have to pull in the whole SDK when setting up a development environment, and this is probably closer to 150MB. After my previous failure to get the Homebrew folks to accept changes to the formula that would allow a much smaller installation, @theopolis is currently attempting to try new but similar methods: https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-core/pull/1582
