We may need some expert debugging, it looks like before the root cause was identified by inspecting the profdata structure: https://github.com/google/oss-fuzz/issues/3081

I don't see any "smoking guns" within recent changes to oss-fuzz: https://github.com/google/oss-fuzz/commits/master
