Is there any timeline on automatic install of custom software on Linux hosts?

This is currently possible using Policy automations!

I have added some software to play. I use the terraform module and currently did not opt to create the software installers S3 bucket.

If I now enable this - do I need to re-add the software so it is stored in said bucket?

I'd definitely recommend deleting ad re-adding software, just so you don't run into a weird scenario down the road where the filesystem dir gets cleared out and some packages are missing.
