Hi team! I think because Slack now started locking comments older than 90 days behind a paywall, I can't search for it anymore, so I'll ask it new here. Was there a reason why Fleet stopped using Nudge to control software updates for MacOS 15 and up? Is there a plan to ever bring it back?

I think primarily for newer versions of macOS our documentation leans on the use of Minimum OS and DDM to enforce macOS updates. https://fleetdm.com/guides/enforce-os-updates But I can't seem to find any evidence that we don't support it anymore and you should be able to use it as intended on hosts running macOS 15+

Hello Matt! Thanks for the speedy reply. That's what I was thinking. When you say that I should be able to use it as intended, I assume you mean rolling it myself and not some Fleet flag that re-enables it's use in Controls > OS updates?

Got it! Actually another question, would I just need to reinstall it and it would follow the controls set in place in OS updates or would I need to roll out configuration profiles? Either is fine! Just want to know what the path forward would be

That being said rolling out configuration profiles seems like it would work!
