I wasn't able to attend the office hours, but I'm looking forward to reviewing the recording. Re: static vs dynamic - the linux devs I work with would like to see OSQuery use dynamic for all distros. They really prefer dependencies come from the distro instead of embedding because they find when deps are bundled with the binary it introduces more vulnerabilities.
