I just spoke with Jory Burson over at the Linux Foundation about EasyCLA. She says we are one of only two projects (Thrift is the other) that is probably misconfigured by requiring both a corporate CLA and individual CLA. She says this actually is probably worse legally than just allowing the corporate CLA because it introduces some doubt as to which entity is authorizing the contributions. I'm not aware of any reason why this was done intentionally. I authorized her to go ahead and configure it to allow either corporate or individual. This is a change they will make on their backend. She says this should not have any impact on existing contributors -- they should all continue to work. If anyone has concerns, please speak up. She's planning to make the change on Monday if she hasn't heard from me.

Sounds good, thanks Zach

I thought it was configured as either/or.
TBH there are high odds they broke it during some upgrade.

Yea I recently went through it as an individual but also employee and it was confusing so I hope this clarifies it for contributors too
