Ideally I would like to distinguish 4 types of devices (2 different data centers, employees, students). I'm wondering of I can somehow handle this via different enroll secrets and labels. Can I retrieve the name of the enroll secret with a query?

04/27/2021, 5:08 PMHi @Martin Pöhlmann. Currently, there’s no way to retrieve the name of the enroll secret with a query. Typically folks will use some other identifier to create labels that distinguish each type of device.

04/27/2021, 5:09 PMIn the coming months, Fleet will introduce the “Teams” feature which will allow users to group hosts into teams using their enroll secret. These teams can then be targeted with specific queries, query packs, and configuration.
For example, you might create your data center teams, employee team, and students team.
