Hi guys, I see that kafka is supported via kafka_restproxy plugin. I was wondering: why kafka_restproxy, and not kafka standalone? Are you open to contribution to add a direct kafka plugin? (with also the possibility to add "decoration" to the message. In particular a "tenant" field for example)

hi there! that's what we support because that's the first thing people had a need for, and in fact, that code was a contribution from outside of fleet 🙂 we are certainly open to contibuitions!
