granted I’m not a developer actively working on osquery but the few times I’ve worked on getting it to build on linux, especially creating the docker container to build from source have been super difficult

But compare that experience with trying to build all of the dependencies for osquery instead, they are hipster and not in pkg managers

why is the C++ community so resistant to have a package manager?
