@Mattias where is leet.pem coming from?
Could you try this form of the command to generate the installer for Windows? fleetctl package --type=msi --enroll-secret <secret> --fleet-url <URL>
m
Downloaded from our fleet instance. I've also tried without the .pem key (just type, url and secret since that's what it says in the generate installer "guide")
Ah, yeah. Tried that too..
k
You don't get any output when you try running the installer?
m
I do get a UAC prompt and a very quick "windows is configuring fleet osquery", etc. I get some files to "Program Files > Orbit". And Osquery daemon and shell x2 and orbit is running, but no logs at all, and they don't show up in fleet.
k
Hey @Mattias did you run the commands from Powershell?
m
Yepp
hmm, i just tried the .msi package on another device and it seems to be working with a very similiar installation process (just getting UAC, etc. when running the package), so maybe there's some other issue with the server not being able to reach out to fleet.. Think I'll troubleshoot that next..
k
Great find. Let me know what the troubleshooting leads to 😊
