If anyone is looking to do some social good, looking for a chance to jump in to osquery development/code changes, I'm happy to help you get started https://github.com/osquery/osquery/issues/6475 (remove instances of 'blacklist' in the product and documentation). I tried to quickly break down the concrete instances so that multiple people can jump in. The issue does not have a step-by-step guide to how to make the change (sorry about that).

Thank you, Ted. I'm happy to help, but maybe it's a good opportunity to allow others to get involved?

Liking Osquery everyday more and more. 😉 Will try to work on it, after I finish my graphs!

I think this is a great idea. Thank you Ted!

@zwass the scheduled query work is a little complex, it might be well suited for someone with more familiarity with the codebase actually

@theopolis now that there is a working funding page, maybe you could set an amount to help "speed up" this process? I'd throw in some cash.

I'm all for funding osquery, but this is a relatively small amount of work and I can take it on uncompensated.
